 If you are a Vet Clinic, Animal Welfare Organization ... check the microchip ID number via scanner.
If you are not a Vet Clinic, Animal Welfare Organization, not having a scanner check the ID number via the collar tag
When the pet has no collar tag anymore, or the collar tag is unreadable or scratched, take the pet to a local Vet, Animal Welfare or Rescue Center. They have a scanner to read the microchip ID number.
- Input the microchip ID number into the Look Up tool.
- If the pet is registered at Return Care, the contact details of the lost pet's owner are shown instantly.
- Contact the pet owner to reunite them with their missing pet.
